Charleston Paddle Club is passionate about paddle sports, physical fitness, fun & keeping our waterways clean! Through the paddle sports we offer, you’ll develop a greater respect and love for Charleston, SC beaches and waterways, get in great shape, and make new friends!! We welcome members of all ages and skill levels, and we love introducing people to new paddle sports while enjoying the beautiful waterways of the Lowcountry! Whether you have been paddling for years or have never stepped foot in a boat, come out and join us! We promise you'll have fun!
ABOUT US
We are a local non-profit organization (501(c)3) located in Charleston, South Carolina that is passionate about paddle sports, physical fitness, fellowship and protecting our waterways. Our regular events include weekly dragon boat practices, outrigger canoeing, and various social and volunteer events throughout the year. Club members compete nationally and internationally with our dragon boat team - the Charleston Firebreathers - and independently by joining Team USA. Members also compete regionally in outrigger canoe events, both individually and as part of a crew.
